Late Summer Seasons Food - Anna Eriksson
Now is the time I get ready to pick all the fruit from my garden, before the bounty disappears - store, pickle and get jamming! Fresh fruit and veg are in abundance, although less than last year after the dry summer. It is a good time to swot up on your mushrooms [obviously wise, so as not to pick the poisonous varieties] and start early morning hunting so now is an interesting time as a whole host of fungi start appearing in the woods. everywhere.
